Registered Care Manager – Barnstaple

HomeLife Carers are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Registered Care Manager to take responsibility for our Barnstaple office.  The ideal candidate will be a Registered Care Manager, hold an NVQ 4, RMA, QCF5 or equivalent qualification and at least 2/3 years’ experience. Duties will include:

  • The smooth running of the day-to-day business, acting as point of contact for care staff and service users where issues cannot be dealt with directly by the area Co-ordinator.
  • To oversee and support with the co-ordination of the Community Team Leaders (CTLs) monitoring compliance regarding all Care Plans and Assessments / Reviews and ensure that all agreed services and contracts are being met as well as all Fundamental Standards.
  • To monitor the work of staff, using the CTLs for assistance via spot checks and appraisals.
  • To oversee and co-ordinate the CTLs with staff supervisions and appraisals and to work closely with Co-ordinators in the area of recruitment and disciplinary issues.
  • To ensure the consistent quality of the service, exceeding not only the requirements of the Fundamental Standards but HomeLife Carers’ own high standards of quality.
  • To liaise with CQC as necessary.
  • To work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the continuing development of the service.
