Our clients, are a well-established not for profit organisation operating within the highly competitive insurance market sector they are currently seeking a Financial Projects & Information Analyst to join their team in Taunton. Job Specific Competencies · Actively makes suggestions for improvements to the companys systems and processes, identifying relevant opportunities via projects, product and business information analysis, system issues and working groups; · Skilled in and able to apply quantitative, statistical and decision making techniques; · Analyses information effectively, efficiently and accurately; · Objectively reviews business proposals and provides concise and constructive feedback; · Presents clear and meaningful information using the most appropriate and effective techniques (e.g. written reports, meetings, presentations, data visualisations). · Applies in depth product and systems knowledge to analyse and control risks associated with the development of new and existing products using various tools (e.g MS Excel, MS Power Pivot, MS Access and MS Management Studio SQL) as well as market research. · Accurately analyses product performance and makes sound recommendations to support the development of a profitable and sustainable product portfolio; · Demonstrates a thorough understanding of key business information requirements and accurately captures and specifies these requirements; · Develops or co-ordinates the development of efficient and effective information solutions; · Successfully co-ordinates testing and implementation of information solutions; · Successfully manages and performs financial projects in a logical and structured manner; · Demonstrates a thorough understanding of financial issues and relevant systems; · Leads the development and implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems, co-ordinating or completing appropriate testing; · Applies effective controls to minimise the risks associated with financial projects, system developments (including testing) and information solutions; · Maintains appropriate levels of security access to business information and financial systems; · Ensures knowledge of relevant IT packages is up-to-date including Microsoft Office Products (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, Lync, PowerPoint), iNaxos, Dream, Task Management Systems, SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Tools, Printers; Salary DOE, up to c.GBP32000, Full Time, Permanent.
