Job Description

The role is to provide administrative support to the Managing Director of a food importing business.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an Office Administrator/Personal Assistant, excellent organizational skills, familiarity with office procedures and a good knowledge of Excel.  They must demonstrate competence in prioritising and working with little supervision.  They must be self-motivated & trustworthy.

Working Hours

We are ideally looking for 20 hours a week, spread over 4 days. 

Experience

The right candidate will need to able to use their initiative within a challenging role. Self-motivation is key with a strong sense of working under pressure and a keen attention to detail. Previous experience within the food import industry would be an advantage but not compulsory. 1 or more years’ experience within the field of food import and export would be an advantage.

Duties

Managing phone calls and correspondence, tracking stock levels and shipping information, managing agendas/travel arrangements/appointments for Managing Director.
