Trial Balance Consulting are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a well establish and growing company in Totnes. This is a key role within the busy company and the client is seeking a highly motivated and focussed individual to lead the payroll team.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Manager will include:
* Manage and support weekly, monthly and adhoc payroll transactions
* Run reports and reconcile and check output against expectations
* Take a lead role in implementing system improvements
* Provide a comprehensive analysis of payroll cost reporting
* Ensure strict compliance with statutory regulations
* Line management of payroll team including training and development

The successful candidate will be an accomplished Payroll Manager with in-depth knowledge of all aspects of payroll/pension legislation. CIPP qualification is desirable.

Previous experience of operating in a supervisory capacity and handling a large volume payroll will be an essential requirement of the role, as will the ability to communicate effectively to senior arrangement staff both inside and outside of finance.
