Job description Seeking a bright and motivated individual for a Website Developer Degree Apprentice role within an exciting and extremely forward thinking company in Wellington, Somerset. Patient Choice will finance and support the successful candidate through a Degree apprenticeship meaning this really is an opportunity not to be missed Responsibilities Responsible for developing and promoting the company websites and e-commerce solutions, and ensuring customers are served promptly and efficiently throughout their experience of them. This role is centred on shifting customers to online ordering, so there is responsibility for promoting the site and ongoing order administration, including customer service and dispatch activities. Key duties include: - Designing and maintaining the look and feel of the website - Improving the usability of the site, particularly the ordering system - Database management - Assisting the Managing Director with planning the online strategy - Managing social media channels, particularly Facebook and Twitter Qualities/ essential requirements - Excellent communication skills - Basic experience of some programming or website tools e.g. Magento, HTML, PHP, CSS - Computer literacy, especially office applications - Desire to develop long term career prospects - Team player - Ability to use initiative and prioritise - Good organisational skills - Someone who has strong problem solving capabilities - Someone who has a passion for new technology; Ideally some exposure to a modern programming language Desired Qualification - Someone who ideally has A-Levels or equivalent in STEM subjects (Maths, Computing, IT etc) Other Important information Working days/hours - Monday-Friday, 9am - 5.30pm, some flexibility may be required Salary - £16,000 - £18,000 per annum, depending on experience Benefits Pension Contribution 5%
