This is an exciting opportunity for an articulate and confident individual to take up a key role within our clients busy Finance Team as a 'Finance Data Analyst' in a permanent part time role. Our client is an established and highly successful national, multi-site business based in North Devon. The position is permanent covering 3 days per week, and will require a candidate who has experience of working in a busy finance team analyzing relevant finance information and providing accurate reporting detail to support the management teams across the business. You will ideally be educated to A Level Standard or have an accounting qualification such as AAT or relevant experience in a similar role. The main objective of the Finance Data Analyst is to work as part of the finance team and assist in the production and analysis of relevant, timely and accurate information to support the management for all sectors of the businesses. Day to day duties will include the following: - To assist in the preparation and distribution of reports to senior Retail Managers on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, analysing against key financial indicators and key milestones - To liaise with IT to highlight any data issues and aim to resolve them - To provide support and assistance in the production of budgets and forecasts, by providing data and analysing trends - To assist in the design and implementation of relevant stock control reporting and forecasting - Collect information and report on overhead and capital expenditure within the business - Liaise with the Product Management team to provide analysis of product, promotional and supplier performance - Liaise with the Operations team to provide relevant performance analysis - Assist in the analysis of marketing and campaign activity - Liaise with the Finance Operations team to understand underlying expense transactional detail - Perform ad hoc projects and duties as required by the l Management Accountant - Assist in the replenishment of gift vouchers to the branches The right person . - Energy, enthusiasm and a clear desire to be part of a very successful company - Keen to progress your career in a finance based role essential - Previous experience of working in a busy finance team and carrying out reporting and data gathering - Excellent attention to detail and a clear understating of financial analysis and data analysis - Abel to provide accurate and easily understood reporting information - Sound planning and organisational skills and able to work to strict deadlines - Excellent communication skills - You must have very good MS Excel skills along with MS Word - Ideally educated to A Level standard or AAT or similar experience In return we offer. - Opportunity to be part of a highly successful organization with IIP status - Salary on application - 22.5 hours per week, covering 3 days, 7.5 hours per day with 1 hour lunch - Benefits include 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (pro-rata), contributory pension scheme, staff discount, child care vouchers If you feel you have the right skills and experience for this position email your CV to Claire by clicking APPLY NOW .
