We're currently looking for a Registered Manager to take up a position within a small home for adults with Autism. Working for a specialist provider you'll be providing a bespoke service to adults with ASD and associated mental health needs in a homely, therapeutic setting with access to the local community in Torquay. The Role As the Registered Manager you'll be responsible for the day to day running of a small home for adults with Autism, ensuring that a safe, stable, homely environment is provided and meets the needs of every individual living in the home. The home is rated Good with CQC and you'll ensure that it is maintained and with a view to improve the rating to outstanding. It provides a bespoke service to the clients, all who have varying complex needs and you'll ensure that clients are supported to make choices about their care and their lifestyle. You'll provide leadership, direction and support for the staff team, ensuring the delivery of high standards of specialist care and support. You'll make sure the home is compliant with The Health & Social Care Act 2008, The Care Act 2014, National Minimum Standards and all other applicable legislation. The Person We're looking for an individual who is passionate and inspiring, who can lead a team to deliver outstanding results You'll need a Social Care management qualification - NVQ 4 or QCF 5 or equivalent You'll demonstrate excellent knowledge of CCQ requirements and relevant legislation You'll be an excellent manager and leader of staff teams.
