Supply Chain Contracts Professional, North Devon, Salary TBC Role - Supply Chain Contracts Professional for job share (temporary ongoing). Acorn Recruitment has an exciting role for an experienced Supply Chain Contracts Professional who will manage all aspects across the end to end supply chain, to develop a high performing supply chain and improve performance, delivery and quality. Principal responsibilities and duties - Development and implementation of the Supply Chain Strategy from supplier to customer Champion the company programme to deliver an outstanding customer experience. Assume responsibility for all Supply Chain functions, including Customer Service, Warehousing, Logistics, Planning and Purchasing Manage the process to deliver all bids and orders on time. Oversee the management of the warehouse and shipping function to ensure first -class OTD Identify opportunities across the Supply Chain to improve cost, inventory, quality and customer service performance. Developing and implementing robust business relationships with suppliers and customers to support the business Implementation of lean processes throughout the Supply Chain. Leading Supply Chain interventions to improve supplier performance and to correct potential supply disruptions and problems. Maintain regular direct contact with customers and suppliers throughout EMEA Essential Background and Experience - Proven experience in a similar Supply Chain Management role, ideally within a precision manufacturing business Strong people management skills Commercial acumen Provable, demonstrable achievements where you have made a significant improvement in supply chain activities, with measurable cost reductions Project Management skills would be preferable Practical knowledge of formal lean techniques, such as KanBan, JIT, PFEP This is an exceptional opportunity to join a highly successful company, who are enjoying year-on-year growth, which is set to continue.
