We are currently recruiting for a Trainer Facilitator to join our Dart Marine Academy team, here at South Devon College. You will be required to instruct and facilitate learning for students enrolled on a range of programmes as assigned by the section Head. You will assess students as appropriate by formal or informal method as required by external examining bodies and internal procedures and develop and maintain good working relationships with both external and internal customers.

The successful candidate will need to have relevant training and/or qualifications in Marine related subject area and if not already held, will need to attain a relevant teaching qualification within the College’s specified timescale. We are looking for someone who has experience preferably within a marine role with preferable sailing and/or engineering background or boatbuilding, and have relevant industry experience within the marine sector.  You will need to have competent levels of sailing/powerboating ability with additional skills to undertake classroom based training, to include functional skills.
