You're a stickler for the English language with an academic degree; you know your split infinitives from your indefinite articles and are more than a little peeved by the odd misplaced apostrophe.
Some people would call you a pedant - but you can't change who you are can you?
You could be a proven sales person or a teacher looking to move into sales. Another of the successful employees who started at the company in April this year has already billed over £70,000 and has been awarded handsomely for all the hard work. She wasn't from a sales back ground but was just enthusiastic, hard working, resilient.
You're not a brash sales man, you will be selling to English teachers and know that such people respect a person with a high quality of written and spoken communication. It's not the pushy person that wins the race but the considered, resilient sales man who does. Persistency and tactfulness are your key assets.
You might have made 200 sales calls in one day but not had one lead. It doesn't matter to you - you know you can learn from this and come back stronger the next day. You'll be passionate about what you do and work tirelessly to drive business forward. You get stuck in, are articulate, enthusiastic and dedicated.
You will need to be persistent yet tactful in order to initiate productive conversations. You will use market leading software to engage with at least 100 people a day. You will be a tech savvy person who has a reflective and analytical mind. You will be able to write emails that scream 'OPEN ME!', whilst using English fluently and flawlessly.
Your role focuses on phoning and emailing schools to introduce them to the educational benefits of Bedrock Vocabulary. Through research and initiative, you will need to identify the correct people at each school to talk to and book an appointment to demonstrate our programme to them. You will visit schools to provide genuinely useful advice. You will be able to achieve weekly KPIs and sales targets, whilst working in the field and from home. One approach doesn't fit all, so you're going to need to be able to think about and vary your strategy accordingly.
You will work remotely from your own home so a peaceful and quiet environment is essential. This is a not a typical office job as you will be travelling around the South West visiting schools so you'll need a car and all the important things to keep it moving - petrol, MOT, business insurance that kind of thing. Once per month you'll visit head office in Norwich to report on how things are going and shout about how you great you are doing.
Working hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, you'll have 28 days holiday taken during school holidays, a training and progression plan within sales, lunch on the company once per month and accommodation in Norwich within your subsidised training.
Please call me to discuss your new job on 0117 922 1130 or email me at .
